I had the chance to take a peek at the new Overkill store in Berlin Kreuzberg…
Overkill opened a new store? Yes, and it’s for women only!
The store is located next to the main store and was introduced on Monday evening.
Next to delicious food from the food trucks outside the store, drinks and chit chats
– it was a really nice get together.
Besides, Overkill teamed up with Adidas Originals and Europe’s female Sneakerhead’s for MiAdidas showing each of the girls own designs in a little exhibition, Tornschuh Jette painting your 3D printed shoes and to round off the evening, german singer Lary performing in the courtyard…
Overkill chose to go with a clean white set up and gold details running like a common thread through the whole store.
Women stores can be a little too overwhelming but the fact that they didn’t went all girly but minimalistic and clean is what I love about it…but see for yourself:…
I feel like women in the streetwear scene aren’t taken too seriously still –
